Re: Landing zone is full. Can't do anything.
By the way, you probably want to do a greyhole --fsck first to force greyhole to take files from the landing zone and distribute them in the storage pool. That is where the problem lies. I can't do a greyhole --fsck . The server is locked up. I have tried doing that, and restarting and such to no a...

Re: Landing zone is full. Can't do anything.
You could just use one of your 2 TB HDDs as a landing zone and have it be part of your greyhole storage pool. That's what I've done; my primary 1.5 TB HDD So you have partitioned your drive four ways and allocated each part of amahi to do it? Did you set that up while going through the install? Did...

Landing zone is full. Can't do anything.
I will try and explain this the best I can as I am not the best with all of this....yet. I have installed Amahi three times to date and the reason I do is because of this issue every time. I decided before I reinstalled again, I would ask to see if there was an easier way. I have 2tb drives that I a...

Re: best hdd set up for amahi ?
How would you set up the OS to be on one small drive and the main shares on another? I am having a problem and going to have to most likely start all over. This information would be helpful.

Re: Amahi server not giving out IP's (DHCP)
I have. I get stopped on step nine. There is nothing to post because my client pc's can't reach the amahi box or the internet. I type in the information and nothing comes back. I can't get past renewing my lease once I lock the DHCP down to amahi's IP address.

Amahi server not giving out IP's (DHCP)
Forgive me for my lack of experience in this matter but I have attempted to trouble shoot every way I know possible. First and for most I have an airport extreme which I understand can be a problem. I have also run through the network troubleshooter and get stopped on step 9 every time. I get the DH...

Re: Computer's worth - Easier option?
Is there any way to tell if the disks are running constantly? What would you consider to hot for the disks? Is there any safety precautions built in that will shut the server down? Do you think the system specs are okay to run the machine?
Thanks for the help.
