Ok so I did more reading and went here -> http://www.amahi.org/instructions/use_amahi
Then clicked http://hda to set up a password and new account. I thought my minds eye the dashboard and rest of the Amahi interface would be hosted on the local system where I access it remotely.

I forgot to mention when I log into the AMahi control panel on the website it says my HDA status is green "Running" and VPN is inactive ready to be enabled.
