well I know know its not iptables or my dvd player. Amahi says that the server is running but if I restart the service the dvd player picks it up instantly after it is started back up. Does anyone else experience any problems like this with the DLNA server?

Thanks rkill, I know its not much of a pool at the moment but I plan on adding more drives and setting up a raid rather than using my external drive as a backup. Not to mention the 1TB is plenty of space for me for the time being.
