Brand new drive same exact issue, going to step through the graphical installer now. Is there a recommend partition layout?

Just swapped the drive for a new one and trying the headless install one more time.

After selecting all the default prompts including the option to wipe my drive, the system appears to install correctly but on reboot I'm dropped to a grub prompt.
