Re: Amahi on a 192.168.25.1 network

Just for the record, i managed to get it working by typing this comand on the console:

hda-change-gw 192.168.0.2 //My router

I also played with hda-change-dns IP1 IP2, but the dns on the system settings of the fedora 14 didnt change with this.

Amahi on a 192.168.25.1 network

I always used to connect to amahi using the IP 192.168.0.10 on a 192.168.0.1 router network, but i had to change my router settings to manual because of my ISP. Re: AirPort Extreme and Applications - Need some help

For those with Airport Extreme and Amahi, try this: Set the DHCP Beginning to 192.168.0.100 and the DHCP End to 192.168.0.199 Leave the Amahi DHCP ON. Now every time you reboot your PC with the server ON, you will be allowed to access the apps(the Amahi server is assigning the IP, because the router...

Re: Show Us your home server

I'm running HP microserver, didn't touched the hardware, pretty much default, athlon II, 1gbram, seems to be running amahi and fedora 14 just fine.

I use Boxee Box to play the contents of the server.

smb://workgroup does not work under my linux desktop.

Hi all. Here's the thing, I disabled the DHCP since I don't need my server to run all day. So i pointed the first DNS on the router to the HDA, the other two DNS fields I filled with my ISP DNS. And works well under windows 7, and mac OSX. But when I get to Fedora 15, only work if I type smb://hda.h...
