Sound problems with amahi-dlna
Hi All, I'm getting some weird behaviour when I stream some movies from my hda to my xbox via amahi-dlna. Many of the files work fine, but on some, I get bad, crackly, sound, poor playback framerate and the fast-forward doesn't work at all. Now, I know what your thinking... the files sound like they...

Re: home domain has disappeared...
perfect! Thats sorted it.
Can I just say how awesome Amahi is. I have been truly amazed at how a £200 server and Amahi have completely changed the way I deal with my digital life. And the community is really brilliant. Where else could I get spon-on user support on a Sunday afternoon!

Re: home domain has disappeared...
I am using the hda as the DHCP/DNS server, yes. The setup dashboard shows the laptios IP address as having a hdcp lease.
How would I go about refreshing/resetting the lease?

home domain has disappeared...
Hi all, My Amahi was woking fine until yesterday, when I added another HDD. Everything seemed to be working fine after switching it on again, but other computers on my network suddenly stopped being able to see apps on my home domain. My laptop can see the hda dashboard, as can the hda itself, but w...
Re: Android
I am amazed this doesn't just work out of the box. Android comes with VPN support, but that doesn't work with the standard amahi vpn server? is that correct? I don't have root on my phone, and have no idea how to get it, so openvpn is useless to me. Are there any settings for the standard VPN suppor...

Thanks, I've moved that to cron.weekly and we'll see if that fixes the problem.

problems with yum...
Hi All, I'm having some problems with yum. Several times an evening (every hour or two), while I'm in the middle of using my HDA, something runs yum as root and my server chugs for about 30s. I have no idea what process/program i running yum, but top clearly shows that it is the problem. Now, chuggi...

Re: Problem with Symbolic links in shares...
I have them all now! I didn't when I first tried it so that may well have been the problem. Not sure why the USB automount is not working correctly. I presume you have all the latest Fedora 14 updates. If not, that could have something to do with it.

Re: Problem with Symbolic links in shares...
I managed to solve this problem by mounting the external ntfs drive from fstab to a permanent location rather than relying on the USB automount. That and a combination of the ntfs-3g package seems to have sorted things. yey!

Problem with Symbolic links in shares...
Hi, I'm new to Amahi, and while I've been using linux for a while, I don't really have much linux-foo. So, I've installed Fedora 14 and Amahi 6.1 and things seem to have set up just fine. I have the standard shares and I can map these as network drives on my windows 7 laptop. I only have a small dis...
