Bigfoot, I'll vouch for that. I ran into the same issue during my install. Rebooting the server resolved.

I'll see what I can do. The only real trick to it was having to remove all existing partitions from the USB stick using Diskpart prior to using ImageWriter to burn the ISO. I found that if there was a partition present ImageWriter would fail during the burn.

USB install worked fine for me. I used Imagewriter on my Windows PC to burn the 64bit Amahi 7 iso to a 4gb thumbdrive.
