CLOSED: Lost Control Panel Credentials
Being paranoid  I changed my root password and user password from an ssh putty concole at the root prompt. I wont make any excuses here !! So please can you tell me (or do you Amahi folk have to do it for me ?) how I reset my credentials so I can access my 'Control Panel" When I "http...

Re: Accessing my Shares using ssh from a Raspberry-Pi - WORRIES
Thanks a lot. It was the 'mount shares locally' I was trying to remember and I will be doing that as I am using Greyhole. As I mount the shares on the pi sometimes using 'smb://hda/share/' from the LDM (windows type environment) I will feel more comfortable using the HDA script than investigating th...

CLOSED: Accessing my Shares using ssh from a Raspberry-Pi - WORRIES
Will I corrupt gh activities or my shares in general if I ssh from my 'pi' into my HDA and access my saved Raspberry Pi scripts directly from the share as in : /var/hda/files/[share-Name]/"file" as I seem to remember way back that this was something you shouldnt do. Can someone please dire...

Re: BASH - Is it flawed or are the press talkingnonsense
Sorry if I offended the 'team' I wasn't suggesting it was an Amahi problem just my ignorance on the relationship between BASH which is the CLI whether its pure AMAHI or pure Fedora19. So wasn't sure therefore if the perceived problem would affect the HDA in anyway which needed addressing through AMA...

Re: BASH - Is it flawed or are the press talkingnonsense
I did have a big tongue-in-cheek when asking but thanks for the response. Will it be obvious in the hda-updates.log for hda-ctl ? but which log should I peruse for the Fedora patch ?
Thanks
Thanks

BASH - Is it flawed or are the press talkingnonsense
Anyone know if the press hype about BASH is relevant in any way to our HDAs. Will lots of naughty persons unknown be able to walk in our front doors including pranksters, gangsters, nosey folks, schoolkids and the rest. If so is there a patch or do you just switch it off ?

Re: VERY VERY CONFUSED .COM (CLOSED)
Thanks for your response. I hadn't ignored your earlier suggestions about 'Amahi Anywhere' but after joining I-Tunes which I didn't particularly want to do I still couldn't seem to find my way to the client app - I dont know why this was the case. So really no joy there. Maybe that's because I don't...

RESOLVED: VERY VERY CONFUSED .COM
I have put this question in "VPN" because I am totally confused about accessing my HDA from outside my home although I have established successful VPN connection from my Andoid Galaxy S3 and from a windows client (HDA-Client) in a relatives home. Which was difficult enough on the S3. Why a...
