hosting multiple apps / subdomains

Firstly i want to say i am not sure if this is an issue with Amahi or my Godaddy settings. If anyone that gets a domain from godaddy can offer any advice i will be very happy. I have been trying to host a couple of web apps and a basic web page on my Amahi server. I followed the wiki page about sett...

Re: Newbie install help

Thanks for the help. I did get this fixed. I found a post where someone that was behind an Untangle server was having the same issues. It turns out there was something in the virus scanner that was blocking the repo. I don't know exactly what it was. i have tried installing and watching the Untangle...

Re: 32 bit install of uTorrent fails to start

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during instal

Well, here's an interesting one. Solution? Turn off virus scanning at the firewall. I run an Untangle firewall on my home network, one of which features is a virus scanning utility. I had issues with it preventing YouTube from working on iPod touch devices. Once I disabled that, Youtube (built-in a...

Re: Newbie install help

just tried it with Fedora 12, using the repo "http://f12.amahi.org" still same error, unable to get repomd.xml. Starting to get tired of this. Amahi definitely is not an "out the box" solution. I understand that it is "free" compared to WHS. But I have built and install...

Re: Newbie install help

Ok, i found somewhere that this issue may be related to a connection problem. Every time i have tried this, i have been using a static IP. This time, i opted for DHCP. this seemed to get more of a response but now the error was this:- "Unable to read package metadata from repository. This may b...
