Re: Greyhole Not Balancing + SMB Shares Not Visible

I just downgraded to back 0.9.2 and the shares are visible again. The Greyhole queue started shrinking. I'll update if it starts balancing to the new drive.

Greyhole Not Balancing + SMB Shares Not Visible

I ran out of space on my system drive and greyhole pooled drives. After deleting files on the system drive I added a new pooled drive. Greyhole doesn't seem to be placing any files onto this drive after 48 hrs. I upgraded to 0.9.7 but this seems to have broken my shares. I can no longer see them ext...

Trouble with hda-diskmount

I used the instructions here http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Adding_a_second_hard_drive_to_your_HDA to add 5 drives to my server 3-4 months ago. Now I can't seem to add a new USB drive. I attempted to add a 1 TB and a 3 TB drive. I had previously modified hda-diskmount to detect a 3 TB drive the las...

Re: Files Missing from Directories - Queue Steadily Growing

No problem, I'm sure it will track them all down. Just wondering if I could prioritize certain directories somehow. It doesn't sound like it until the first fsck is done.

Thanks again. I'm headed to the donation page next :)

Re: Files Missing from Directories - Queue Steadily Growing

Thanks! OK, I'll just keep an eye on it and hopefully everything will work out. It doesn't look like I can run fsck on a specific dir until the "invisible" queue drops below 90K then?

Re: Files Missing from Directories - Queue Steadily Growing

I restarted the service and I still see the "More than 90000 tasks queued..." in the log ps auxww | grep -i greyhole root 29766 0.1 0.3 296600 12780 pts/1 SN 13:08 0:00 /usr/bin/php /usr/bin/greyhole --daemon root 29801 0.0 0.0 102760 828 pts/1 S+ 13:10 0:00 grep -i greyhole greyhole --vie...

Re: Files Missing from Directories - Queue Steadily Growing

The fsck has finished and the files are still missing. I'm reposting with updated info. uname -r; rpm -q samba hda-greyhole 2.6.32.26-175.fc12.x86_64 samba-3.4.9-60.fc12.x86_64 hda-greyhole-0.9.2-1.x86_64 yum -y install fpaste; fpaste /etc/samba/smb.conf; fpaste /etc/greyhole.conf http://fpaste.org/...

Re: Files Missing from Directories - Queue Steadily Growing

The greyhole update went smoothly. It has been running continuously for 4 days now. The queue was over 150K, but has been steadily dropping. I think at the current rate it may be 20+ days before it is done. I'll update again when it is done.
