My network went down, so I tried to ssh into my HDA. Couldn't do it. Turned it on and off with soft power switch. Still no response to ssh. Connected monitor. Boot stuck at "/dev/sde failed S.M.A.R.T." Ran smartctl --all, here is the https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/MIgjjJ2krQFTuqYa1N...

Re: The primary GPT table is corrupt, but the backup appears OK
The opposite, backup is corrupt, primary is OK, is very common and is quickly solved with gparted. But my issue, and the fact that it occured on three different drives of two different types is very unusual. My RAID5 is too big to backup directly without spending a lot on more storage. Otherwise, I ...

The primary GPT table is corrupt, but the backup appears OK
My HDA runs Fedora 21 and Amahi 8. The machine has a 240GB Crucial SSD with the OS and four 5 TB hard drives in a RAID5 config. Today, when I ran fdisk -l I saw the following error on multiple drives: The primary GPT table is corrupt, but the backup appears OK, so that will be used. I've never seen ...

Manually updating Plex Media Server on Amahi 8 / Fedora 21?
My plex media server is on Version 0.9.14.6 when the latest current Version is 1.4.3.3433, I'd really like to get on the current version so that I can use the web app as designed. I've been told that it's a bear to upgrade manually, but I am curious: just how hard it is? Although I'd prefer a way to...

Re: OpenVPN main cert has expired - are there updated ones available?
While this took some doing for a novice like me, I followed this process to set up a Certificate Authority (CA) and generate a certificate and keys for my server and client. https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/documentation/howto.html#pki This process worked for me on Amahi 8 / Fedora 21. cpg ...
