Re: Sab and/or Sickbeard auto-processing issue
nevermind it was the line i added to the cron file that changed permissions to 660. In order for the newsgroups share to be accessible from other machines, permissions must be set to 777. for newbs like myself do the following: sudo crontab -e select nano by typing 2 and then hitting enter add the f...

Re: Sab and/or Sickbeard auto-processing issue
^this makes the "newsgroups" share unaccessable from other computers on the network. replacing "adminusername" with "www-data" has the same effect. thoughts?sudo chown -R adminusername:users /var/hda/files/newsgroups

Re: Sab and/or Sickbeard auto-processing issue
That returned chmod: cannot access 'adminusername:users': No such file or directory. Wrong syntax? I used sudo chown -R adminusername:users /var/hda/files/newsgroups which definitely did the trick, albeit temporarily. For a permanent fix that doesn't involve using a cron job, i turned to google. My ...

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Okay so I am having the same permissions issue as apastor. What sort of fix was employed to keep new files added to the newsgroups/complete directory from being created as root:root?

Re: Sab and/or Sickbeard auto-processing issue
Just noticed that even though manual processing works for moving and renaming, it is not deleting original files form the sab's "complete" folder. "Keep original files" is unchecked. I'm going to try bypassing the sab to sickbeard script, by using the scan and process feature in ...

Sab and/or Sickbeard auto-processing issue
For some reason, sab and/or sickbeard will not automatically process TV shows once downloaded. However, manual processing via sickbeard works great. Any thoughts on what might be happening? There was one questionable step during the install that may be the issue. When editing the AutoProcessTV confi...

Re: Amahi DLNA doesn't rescan automatically
I have this issue too. seen a couple other posts about similar problems with one thing in common: Users have sub-directories under the main directory (i.e. movies/crime drama/legally blonde 2/terrible.avi). any news on a fix or a hack?
