Re: VPN unable to see network resources other than hba
I've done a ton of reading and I've gotten this to work! I'm still a noob and needed an IT friend explain what many of these steps mean. I'm not sure I can answer a lot of the "why it works" questions. But here is what I did (and where I found it) so hopefully this can be corrected in the ...

Thank you.
I really need this functionality.
If there is something a beginner can help with, I'll be happy to do so

Re: VPN unable to see network resources other than hba
I thought I did ask my question. It is the same as the original poster. What has changed in the one button installation of OpenVPN between Fedora and Ubuntu. Using only the on click installation, in Fedora, when connected to the VPN, all network machines were accessible from the remote machine. Now ...

Re: VPN unable to see network resources other than hba
I'd like to bump this post up. I would like some more explanation on how to get this working. I have recently updated from Fedora 14 to Ubuntu 12.04 and now my VPN won't let me get to my other machines. On Fedora, I could use the VPN and the use Remote Desktop to access all of my windows machines on...

DHCP not working
Hello. The wife killed the HDA by filling it with water (long story). Motherboard dead. Hard drives and power supply ok. Put new mb, cpu, ram, video card, in and used old hard drives. Everything fired up. Almost. My onboard ethernet card was recognized as eth1. eth0 had the mac address of the old ca...

Re: DHCP help server won't start.
I got it fixed. Thanks to bk and Solar__ in the chat room that helped me out. Through doing a few query's that SolaR__ wrote for me and bk tested and verified, it seems that line 19 in my HDA db was missing. This line held the default lease time setting. A quick insert into the db, thanks again to S...

Re: DHCP help server won't start.
I upgraded to Fedora 14 and Amahi 6 today. My problem still persists. Everytime I reboot, the DHCP server config file gets written with errors.
Any thoughts on the fix?
Thanks.

Re: DHCP help server won't start.
I'm having problems finding the offending settings in phpMyAdmin. I've located hda_production and found the settings. However I do not see any entry for the two entries that keep getting overwritten. Could you dumb down your advice or point me in the right direction to learn what I need to. Thanks a...

Re: DHCP help server won't start.
thank you all for the help. yes, editing the config file fixed my issue. I'm pretty sure I didn't set them to 0 with the advanced features. However I am pretty sure I have a bug or some program is misbehaving. After I fixed the issue, my server ran for 2 days with no issue. Then, sometime on Saturda...
