Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
No I have a fully installed Amahi system from a fresh Fedora 12. Concerning removing my apps. Sensors is easy since Amahi has a delete web-app capability. But there are scripts run by crontab etc. However as you well know just deleting an app isn't that easy. The configuration needs to be restored w...

Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
As I SAID these items have been running for MANY MONTHS and are not the problem. They have nothing to do with Apache and PHP! Of course I can remove them and I also can reinstall Amahi completely. I think we are at the end of this effort and I'll start over. My next post will confirm Amahi reinstall...

Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
The only thing I have that isn't plain vanilla Amahi is my own web app called sensors. Sensors is a web page (perl, javascript and html) that displays rrdtool data/graph obtained from cron job that reading 1-wire sensors. I also run an instantiation of Misterhouse (perl based) on port 8080 for contr...

Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
Understand, a settings change on upgrade has been in the back of my mind.
I have exhausted every log that I can think of/ find.
It is a standalone machine. An older dual-core AMD pc.

Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
I kinda would like to understand the problem also and not just reinstall. Reinstalling kinda seems like a cop-out. However I'm running out of ideas. It is clear the problem is Apache and PHP though. If I remove .php from AddHandler directive in httpd.conf I no longer get a 500 error (of course). Wha...

Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
Just checked software updates - none available Amahi install (my memory) was exactly as scripted and went without problem. I don't remember if I checked the media on install but I just did a check media via the Fedora install and the DVD passed. I also don't remember any problems during the actual i...

Re: Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server err
Yes, Fedora 12 was installed right off the iso DVD This one is a real head scratcher, I looked at the http conf files. No changes made and they show the Add Handler .php as well as +ExecCGI directives. I'm not opposed to some drastic measures like reinstalling stuff. My biggest issue is losing/backi...
