Re: Amahi is deleting my files...?!
I'll be guessing that you have the Uses Pool enable for your share. Try this: greyhole --debug "filename_that_disappeared" Also see the sticky topic in this forum. It has instructions on how to provide the information we might need to help you. I did the pool enabled for the share, yes. I...

Amahi is deleting my files...?!
I copied an 8gb DVD ISO image to my Movies share on my HDA...seemed to work fine, started playing it on VLC without a hitch. I watched 10 minutes of the DVD to see if it could play such a large file over a wireless network (it can), but then when I exited VLC the file was gone - no trace of it ever ...

Re: Can't access files from Mac...
Nevermind...
Fixed the issue by removing all files from the share, deleting the share, and then re-adding the share and file and it worked fine.
Guess the file and/or share was corrupted or something.
But never the less, works fine now...thanks anyway!

Re: Can't access files from Mac...
Have you checked out the info in the wiki? There is a shares troubleshooter and some info on MAC specific items. Thanks for your reply. However, I can connect to the server just fine, it's just when I select the file (which is around 8gb), it's greyed out as if like Mac says, it's being used or is ...

Can't access files from Mac...
Spent a long time setting up Amahi and personalising it bla bla bla... I want to store my DVD collection on it, full 7-8gb ISO images. I tested it with one, and can copy the image from my XP machine to my HDA, but when I try opening the file on Mac OS X Snow Leopard, I get the following message: Ite...

Re: Converting Greyhole to MySQL
Ah ok I see now! Well thanks for your help, much appreciated!0.6.8 was the last version. 0.7.5 was released yesterday, and can take about a day to reach everyone, thus why you didn't have it yet.

Re: Converting Greyhole to MySQL
You need version 0.7.5 or more of Greyhole to have that file. I'm guessing you didn't get the update yet. To check what version you have: rpm -q hda-greyhole To force an update: yum clean all; yum -y update hda-greyhole Yeah that was it! Thanks so much for your help! I'm still pretty new to this......

Converting Greyhole to MySQL
I would like to convert my Greyhole from SQLite to MySQL, as per the 'Holiday Present' email I received earlier today. I ran (under root): /usr/share/greyhole/db_migration-sqlite2mysql.sh It returned with 'No such file or directory' I looked into the Greyhole directory, and sure enough, nothing matc...
