Re: Amahi Energy Saver
The error is caused by an external library, RiCal . Perhaps you can be a spokesman and ask the developers to investigate this exception? Very strange also that it occurs on your system only, I've never received any other report like yours. Are you using the calendar feature of AES at all? I'm wonder...

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
What's the problem with uninstalling? Something doesn't seem right with your installation :o To manually uninstall, stop the service first (run as root): service aes stop rm /etc/init.d/aes chkconfig --del aes Then: cd /var/hda/web-apps/aes/ .. and delete everything in this folder To clean all setti...

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
.... looks like a problem in one of the external Ruby libraries, namely RiCal. I cannot reproduce it though.
Did the issue just occur recently? Did you update your system lately?

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
From the log it looks like aes crashes regularly. Could you stop the service and run aes via command line to see if there is any console output.

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
Does this occur also if you manually suspend to disk (via KDE menu)? If yes, it is something caused by the OS rather than AES.

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
In Fedora, it was /var/hda/web-apps/aes/html/aes-extra/aes-install.sh.
The location of the Amahi log I cannot remember, maybe /var/log...?

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
Looks like the install script, which was created for Fedora, does not work properly with Ubuntu. Can you run the script manually and post the output. There is a log file of the Amahi app installer, I don't know the exact location in Ubuntu but it should be worthwhile checking. #jayrock [ Post made v...

Re: Amahi Energy Saver
Hello modem7, How does one reset current values of the power usage/saved chart? Run this command in a root console: rm /usr/share/aes/energy-logger.yml This will delete the recorded history. Then click "Apply" to restart the service. Also, is the usage in kwH? (under the 75/5 bit)? Do you ...
