Strangely enough I was asked to reboot a few times again, which I did and suddenly there was a message saying I could login with admin/admin and from there on everything went as planned.

I really want the small footprint, my server is a dual atom system so everything I don't need, I also don't want to consume space/resources. Update: after a long wait (I've been to my welding course) I was asked to reboot or to select commandline debugging. If I choose to reboot I get to the same point again:
