Thanks for the help. Problem was DHCP conflict between modem and wireless router. Bridged modem (after three days getting the password) and now I'm in.

I'm sorry for not being clear. I'm getting quite confused myself and I guess I'm passing it on. That information is all from my Linksys router. There is a section describing the 'Internet connection' which is on top and then a section describing the router 'on bottom.'

OK, having a problem finding the setting to allow my router to be pinged. I did notice something I'd forgot about when I installed my router though. My router would not function with the default IP of 192.168.1.1. I had to change the router address to 192.168.2.1. Now when I look at the router infor...

Thanks for the replys. I checked and I have designated the forwarding as UDP. I tried connecting with Vista Firewall off and same result. I will try the pinging the router tomorrow. Thanks again for the support.
