All tests performed with the following: Windows 7 Ult. 64bit Host VMware 7.1.3 build-324285 New VM using Typical, Default settings. EXCEPT i always choose the "Install OS Later" option instead of EasyInstall First Test - Clean install of Fedora 14 and Amahi 6 Install went well. Not a hitch...

I followed the instructions at http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VNC Worked great except.. in the config where you have this VNCSERVERARGS[2]="-geometry 1024x768 -nolisten tcp -localhost" i had to get rid of the -nolisten tcp and -localhost flags. I understand this makes my hda less secure, ...

Where is the settings.json file? My linux knowledge is limited so i have no clue where to look. EDIT: I found a settings.json file at home/username/.config/transmission/ Chamged the umask to 0...now i can't see the folder in my downloads. Transmission verifies data like its there. But i cant see it ...

I vote for the stack. I have 3 HDDs stacked in my machine, and as someone said before the swirls bring to mind the "all inclusive" idea of Amahi.
When i look at the Dice and the Propeller i see something Ubuntu'ish or Windows'ish.

Just to put my 2 cents in....i tried SubSonic on FreeNAS before i decided to give amahi a try.
Worked great. Streams well. They have a Android app, as well as (i think) an iphone app.
The interface is very easy to work with. Setup was a breeze.
