Videos in Ampache
When I was deciding to install Ampache I was pleased to see it could stream video. However there is no information about how to set it up - which formats are supported etc. It seems to dump all files into one list audio and video and I when I look at the video item all the columns are blank except d...

Problems with WebVNC
Hi, I have been using WebVNC for a long time now and with no problems. However I had a series of other problems recently and ended up uninstalling WebVNC, intending to reinstall it immediately. I then find it is no longer available on the applications page and is in Beta - only available for testers...

Problems uploading with Adito
Hi, I have set up a user for a friend of mine so that he can store some data on my server. He can access the app with no problem, but when he uploads - small files and photos upload OK, medium files (6Mb) the browser hangs and nothing happens, with large files Firefox crashed and Adito gave the foll...

Re: Can't access apps from Amahi
I administer the Server from VNC. I can access Amahi from the browser (http://hda. etc). I can access Adito from the web browser using the Dynamic DNS. The hhtp://adito. link doesn't work: "Firefox can't find the server at..." so I don't really have any options.

Re: Can't access apps from Amahi
Sorry for the mix up, it is VNC viewer - no, I gave up with ALS as I could access via the Dynamic DNS, but it looks like it is stopping me using other apps as well. I don't know if it helps at all, but with ALS, when I try to access documents with links to localhost, they don't work. It seems like t...

Re: Can't access apps from Amahi
Obviously I was unclear. I am on the same network, behind the firewall. In addition I am executing the link on the Amahi dashboard page via WebVNC so it is the same machine.

Can't access apps from Amahi
Hi, I use VNC viewer to administer my Amahi and it works great. I have installed Open VPN ALS, and today Clear Budget. Each of these has a link to start the program in the usual format http://budget. But when I try to use these links I get "cannot find the server.." error messages. I can a...

Re: VPN should work, but it doesn't
I was offering you advice and have no way of knowing your skill set. Please understand we are a very small team of volunteers who do our best with an overwhelming work load. Now, the log files are located in /var/log directory. Recommend you look at syslog and messages. The VPN info on amahi.org ma...

Re: VPN should work, but it doesn't
This is the point where linux starts to fail. Products like Amahi try to appeal to ordinary users, but if anything goes wrong we get cryptic advice like "start looking at log files". Which log files? Where are they? What should we look for? Yes I have Amahi as my DHXCP/DNS sever, and have ...
