Re: Default IP Address
As a side note, you will find there are strict permissions on config files in linux. Most if not all will require you to perform editing actions using the root account.

Re: Default IP Address
In addition I just found another post where cpg mentions a script already exists for changing the gateway. This is probably the preferred way of changing the gw.
http://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=844there is a script called hda-change-gw to change the gateway (and network) address

Re: Default IP Address
The system is running Fedora so you can adjust settings the same way with any Fedora based distro. You can check the current gateway by listing the routing table. route -n Will list the routing table. Specifically look for the destination 0.0.0.0 which should list the gateway IP. If that's incorrect...

Re: Greyhole / Sticky Files
Thanks for the quick work on this. I've updated greyhole using the RPM provided. I then did several tests with different folders within shares. I tried using both single wildcard and multiple wildcards in the sticky_files directives. For Example: Movies/Sticky Folders/* Movies/Sticky Folders/*/* Fro...

Re: Greyhole / Sticky Files
Hi, Thanks for the excellent response and for the explanation about why music files are default sticky. What you'd like is for wildcards to be available in there, so you could do something like: sticky_files = Movies/*/* Which would make all subfolders of Standard Definition, High Definition (I gues...

Greyhole / Sticky Files
Hi guys. I've just moved over to amahi and greyhole from WHS because of the new drive extender technology being introduced in Vail. So far I'm becoming more comfortable with greyhole, its principles and how it works. I even decided to use a third drive as the staging area thats very fast but not par...
