Re: Move to New Drive From LVM
According to this LVM is kinda supported, but not in the way I need. So, when you say that CloneZilla "supports" LVM, you don't mean that it can actually pick out and image individual LVM volumes, you just mean that it can grab the raw data off LVM partitions? I hardly consider this "...

Re: Move to New Drive From LVM
Clonezilla was my first thought. I tried it before coming here. I have tried to replicate this with a VM - setting up three drives in LVM and installing Fedora then adding a fourth, bigger drive, and using Clonezilla but I can't seem to get Clonezilla to recognize the LVM. I have read that Clonezill...

Move to New Drive From LVM
Technically my question is not specifically related to backup, but the solution may be more of a backup type solution. Here is my situation: I have 3 drives in a LVM. I recently acquired a single drive that is three times larger than the three drives combined. I would like to remove the three drives...

Message Log not rotating properly
I was having an issue with the message log on my Amahi server not rotating properly. It was up to over the past few months and under previous install had filled up available space on root which resulted in me re-installing Amahi/Fedora. After some digging and manually running they logrotate command ...

Re: WOL (Wake-on-LAN) support is here!
I do not know what errors were in messages - it was too big and I couldn't get it to load because I was out of space on my box.
Which logs would you like me to send you?

Re: WOL (Wake-on-LAN) support is here!
No, I have not done anything. Looks like the problem was unrealted to WOL. the /var/log/messages file was 250 GB. I believe that was part of the problem as / had 0% availible. I removed it (and recreated it) and now I have 49% free on the disk. However, now I am getting a Application error Rails app...

Re: WOL (Wake-on-LAN) support is here!
I installed this last weekend and it seems to work ok but I ran into trouble this morning that may be related.
I can nolonger get into the web interface getting a "Ruby on Rails application could not be started" error.
How do I get rid of the WOL?
