I fixed it. All is working perfectly. I had neglected to place a space in the redirect code.

"yum update" took a long time to update.

It updated for an hour; however, after it was all done it still reinstalls drupal 7.22. Should I leave it as is or change it back to what it was?

Sorry. I went to try to post bug report and am not sure how to do that.

Another weird thing, when I reinstall drupal and then go to the web-apps/drupal folder there is a file titled:

drupal-7.22-patch.tar.gz

in there....

That didn't work. I'll submit a bug report. Before I do so, one last weird thing---not sure if it is related to why I am not getting latest version... When I reinstall drupal (it appears to be 7.22) and go to the address it begins the install process but hangs when double checking the requirements. ...
