I am very interested in this version of amahi but would like to know how ubuntu sets up it's partitioning.....I was very fond of the fedora 12 partitioning which just merged all my discs automatically....which did not happen with fedora 14....I have multiple backups of my data so am not really inter...

thanks for the info but I should have been more specific.. I need to know how to create a torrent I can seed from my hda. If I create it on another computer don't I need to have that computer on 24/7 so it can seed. I was hoping to do just do it through my hda. Transmission for downloads works great...

I solved the problem I had by using a chmod command on the download folder. Have to do it each time a new torrent finishes but it is worth it.

Is there anyway to actually create a new torrent and seed it with transmission.....I have looked carefully but the solution is probably staring me in the face and I don't see it....

got it solved......renamed workgroup on my PC and hda. Thx to the person on irc...

I have installed this application but when I click on the link in installed applications firefox cannot connect and gives me this message....Firefox can't find the server at \\linpha.home.com\...... I have installed this twice and rebooted.....any ideas?
