Re: Apache will not start after app install
Yea the apache fix appears to still be looming in the distance. The AllowOverride is what caught me off guard. I have not seen that error before. Is there something different about this HDA install? Is it the latest 12.04.2? Nothing different about this install that I know of. Yes, it's the latest ...

Re: Apache will not start after app install
Good to hear you got it resolved. Odd that this crops up occasionally. I tested phpSysInfo on Ubuntu 12.04 with no issues. Wonder if a recent OS update has caused the problem. Not sure about any updates. This servers has been offline for weeks; I'm just now getting to working with it. I did all upd...

Re: [SOLVED] Issue with running sh install-amahi
I reloaded the server and now it's fine. Even though the disk was 12.04.1 it still has 12.04.2 on it after a sudo apt-get upgrade (kind of figured a dist-upgrade would be the only thing to upgrade it like that). At any rate, the only issue I have right now is the little bug I found a while back that...

Re: [SOLVED] Issue with running sh install-amahi
I'm having a similar issue. The first time I ran the installer, it just froze. Subsequent retries, since a reboot, yield the error below. willybay@willybay-hda:~$ sh install-amahi Welcome to Amahi for Ubuntu! This will install Amahi and will ask your password, for admin access It creates a log file ...

I've done so and have been approved. Where do you think something like this should go?Anyone can edit the wiki once they are approved for an account. Go to the wiki and register.

When this feature is released, it should be part of the platform at no cost I believe. If you use DynDNS Pro, it would be beneficial if you could document it in the wiki. There are others who might be interested in this solution. I know it's been a while but where do you think something like this w...

Re: Should I do not 'ANY' update of ubuntu??
I just recently upgraded my HDA from Fedora 14 to Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS. I know there's no clean upgrade path; I just prefer Ubuntu and consider it an upgrade. ;) At any rate, whenever I do Ubuntu installs, I tend to use the minimal CD - whether it's at work for our purposes or for my home needs. It go...
