CLOSED: Is dynamic DNS down?
My dynamic DNS address points to an old IP address, despite my address changing twice. Is anyone else having this problem?

Amahi stops when laptop lid closes
Hey, I have an Amahi 7 HDA running on an old laptop, and it has been working well since January. However, it has recently stopped working when the laptop's lid is closed. I have it set up so that nothing happens power-wise when the lid is closed. But now, when the screen is down, I can't ping the se...

Re: User password mis-match after changing password in hda w
If you changed the user name or password via command line, that is why you cannot log in. It must be changed via the dashboard. Best thing to do would be to change it back and do it from the dashboard. I just ran into this today where I changed my password via the command line using passwd but Samb...

Re: HDA Update last night, re: plex
Thanks for the information cdcrawford, that worked for me. My question is why did Amahi replace the release from Plex, when I didn't buy the PMS app from Amahi? Should that behavior even be allowed?

Re: Periodic extreme HDA slowness
Yeah, it was a combination of two things. First, GNOME really was eating a lot of resources, so I now just boot at user level 3 so no GUI is used. Second, I had installed the Plex Media Server on my HDA. I store all my movies on a RAID, but the PMS keeps a temporary directory of transcoded movies in...

SOLVED: Periodic extreme HDA slowness
Hey, I installed Amahi 7 in a new Fedora 19 install, and I sometimes experience long bouts of lag, even on the HDA itself. I opted to install gnome 3 on the HDA, and when the lag occurs, even stuff like moving the cursor is really slow and thus local administration is impossible. Also, when the lag ...

miniDLNA not indexing all my videos
Hi, I am having a problem getting all of my videos to be indexed by the miniDLNA app (as opposed to uShare). The problem is that no matter what I do, seemingly no more than 105 movie files are being shown on my PS3. I have tried a full rescan of my videos by deleting the files.db file in the /tmp/mi...

Wow, I didn't look at your whole post before I posted a reply. I am assuming you did what was in the link, and I am blind for not seeing it until I posted my reply...
If that doesn't work, I don't know what the problem would be.

Re: ACL Error with iAmpache and Ampache on Amahi
You need to create an RPC ACL.
Log in as admin
Navigate to the Admin page (it is the icon right next to the puzzle piece)
Click 'Add ACL'
Put in a name, select ACL type = RPC, Start = 0.0.0.0, End = 255.255.255.255, Level = All
Click Update
