I am trying to backup my windows 7 RC pc to my hda using the windows backup tool. Everytime it reaches about 3/4 it gives an error which says that the device is not ready. I am backupping to a share called backups.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this an incompatability issue?

I find it to be somewhat unreliable. It's just saving to shares, so Amahi is just doing standard file sharing and it's supported.

You should specify the error you get (click on More Info). Here is a useful table with workarounds.
